This is part 2 of the PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support - Heartcode Course. 

During this hands on session students will have their PALS skills validated by an AHA PALS instructor. 

• BLS for Infant and Child
• Shock recognition, IO placement, fluid administration
• Respiratory adjunct management and recognition of respiratory emergencies
• Arrythmia management and difibulator competency
• Team Lead for 2 PALS Megacode Scenerios 

You must finish the Heartcode online PALS course prior to the hands on skills check. The course will be sent to you upon registration for the hands on session. Please note you will need a PRINTED copy of the course completion certificate at the time of skills check. The instructors have been instructed NOT to proceed if the certificate is missing.

Note per the AHA and St. Vincent's policy the training center has 20 days to issue course completion cards. Please let us know if you do not get your card within 20 days of your course.
